My path here was a little unconventional. I spent 23 years as a middle school band director before transitioning into a role as the Educational Technology Facilitator at Lake Mary. When our previous director was out sick, I stepped in to help with the band. I enjoyed working with the students and families so much that when the position opened up, I decided to come back to what I'd always loved doing.

I'm now in my 31st year of teaching, and what I can tell you is this; what makes this program worth investing in isn't any one performance or competition result. It's the people. Students here work hard, families are supportive, and together we're building something that goes well beyond the music.
