Color Guard Information, Summer 2026

I hope everyone is enjoying a rejuvenating summer break!

This is the latest update on the relaunch of the Lake Mary HS Color Guard.

If you signed up to be on the email list for color guard, please check your email for an important piece of information!

We are hoping to have a few rehearsals before the official band camp season gets underway. While these rehearsals are optional, the more preparation we can get before band camp begins, the better—especially if many of us are starting from the very beginning.

Please see the dates for our preliminary practices:

• Tuesday, July 7, 4–6 PM

• Tuesday, July 14, 4–6 PM (also the night of Marching Band Orientation Night, 6–8 PM)

• Tuesday, July 21, 4–6 PM

Please wear clothing that is comfortable and appropriate for physical activity.

• Complete required paperwork

• Order gear and supplies

Leadership & Rookie Week

Leadership Camp: July 20–22, 9AM-4PM, LMHS Band Room

Band Camp: July 27–31, 9 AM–9 PM

• Required for all band and color guard members

• The week during which we learn the beginning of our halftime show and establish our marching and performance fundamentals

Family & Friends Preview Show: Friday, July 31, 6 PM, LMHS Stadium

• Our first public performance of the 2026–2027 school year!
